Blue Dolphin Resort in Xai-Xai Mozambique has a self-catering house that is ideal for holiday or corporate accommodation.
HOUSE- sleeps maximum 10 people
The house is large and spacious, with a large covered
verandah for those 'not so good' weather days. There are three bedrooms,
two bathrooms, a lounge, kitchen and, of course, a private verandah
overlooking the ocean. The music from the bar can be heard from the
chalet and the bar runs till between 10pm and 1am most nights and 3am in
holidays.
Bed configuration
In the main bedroom there is one double and one single
bed. Bedrooms two and three have two single beds in each. The large
lounge has a double and one single bed. All bedrooms have ceiling fans
with no air-conditioners. All beds have mosquito nets and all bedding is
supplied.
Bathrooms
One bathroom is en-suite to the main bedroom and
consists of a shower, toilet and basin. The other bathroom is shared by
the remaining rooms and consists of a bath, shower, toilet and basin.
Towels are supplied.
Kitchen
The kitchen is set up for self-catering guests. It has a four plate gas stove with oven, fridge/freezer, deep freezer, crockery, cutlery, utensils and glasses.
Braai
A charcoal braai is available for use.
Parking
Parking is available directly outside the house,
but at the moment it is only for 4x4 vehicles. Other vehicles are to
park in the main car park at reception.
Water
Our water is from a well/bore hole on our
premises and safe to drink. It has no additives and is scientifically
checked (as by law) every twelve months. However, if you are still unsure
please drink bottled water.
Electricity
We are on the main line with our own transformer. The current is fairly stable, but we advise that if you are bringing anything sensitive to fluctuating current that you bring the necessary UPS. If you feel it is necessary to bring something that draws lots of power please ask us beforehand if it is possible for us to run it. We ask that guests please do not overload plug points.
RATES
Our seasons are according to South African school holidays and public holidays.
Out of season rates:
Chalet per night (5 or more people): 6,000mts
OR
per person per night up to 4 people : 1,250mts each
In season rates:
Chalet per night: 6,000mts (no per person rate in season)
PLEASE NOTE: All
quotes are done in Mts. Should you wish to pay in another currency, the
exchange rate is to be determined on the date of payment (not quote
date).
